Business Process

Standardized workflows for every enterprise activity

nakhelland runs its business through documented processes: defined stages, named responsibilities, visible status, automatic task generation, permanent audit history and measured performance — integrated across every module.

Principles

How enterprise processes are governed

Six operating rules apply to every process in the ecosystem, from a supplier application to a knowledge article publication.

Process before memory

Every enterprise activity follows a documented workflow. No critical business step depends on someone remembering it.

Explicit responsibility

Each workflow names its owner, reviewer, approver and executor, so accountability is never ambiguous.

Deadlines and escalation

Service levels, reminders, priority levels and escalation paths are part of the process definition, not an afterthought.

Complete audit history

Every status change is written to a permanent activity history that cannot be edited or removed.

Intelligent notifications

Status changes notify the people who need to act, through the channels each person has chosen.

Measured and optimised

Cycle time, on-time rate, task load and rework are measured continuously so processes keep improving.

Approval states

One status model across the platform

Every approval-bearing process uses the same six states, so a status means exactly the same thing in finance as it does in the field.

Pending

Submitted and waiting for review by the assigned reviewer.

Approved

The approver accepted the request; execution may begin.

Rejected

The request was declined, with the reason recorded in the history.

Returned

Sent back to the requester for clarification or missing evidence.

Cancelled

Withdrawn by the requester before a decision was reached.

Completed

Approved and fully executed; the process is closed.

Process catalogue

Documented workflows across the ecosystem

Each definition states its module, purpose, responsibilities, service level, generated tasks, expected documents, performance indicators and assistant support.

Recovery

Safe recovery and continuous optimisation

Processes are designed to fail safely and to improve on evidence rather than opinion.

Nothing is lost

Requests are never hard-deleted. A withdrawn process is cancelled, keeping its history, so recovery is always possible.

Return instead of restart

Incomplete submissions are returned with a recorded reason, so the requester resumes the same process rather than opening a new one.

Evidence-led change

Cycle time, overdue volume and rework are reviewed against user feedback and business needs before a definition is amended.

Your processes

Signed-in members submit requests, track status, work their tasks and read the full history of every process they own.
